There's
a lot I don't know about insurance. But over the course of the last 15 years
since a horrific accident disabled me, I've had to hunker down and apply
myself to learning how to stay alive, how the body repairs and, in the end,
I believe the knowledge I've acquired could help <Insurance Company>
improve its cash return per dollar.
I've
been told by some of your representatives that you don't want to know these
things and that it isn't your concern about how people heal. I disagree.
I think if <Insurance Company> was to initiate an overall plan that
would help people repair much faster and much more thoroughly from accidents
that in the long run <Insurance Company> would pocket a lot more profit
margins.
If
my immediate hospital doctors had given me hyperbaric oxygen for just a
few days after my accident, and possibly issued me a prescription for home
oxygen supplies, I would have been able to return to work a long time ago.
If you multiply my situation times the thousands of insured, your profits
would actually SOAR.
As
I said, I don't know much about insurance or longevity tables. But what's
to understand? The amount of cash your company has had to expend paying
my premium rider for 15 YEARS plus the monies I had to borrow to
help my son in school and some other things, is money out the proverbial
window. I think I can understand that well enough. Of course when I eventually
croak from lack of medical care from a bunch of half twit doctors, the money
I've borrowed will come out of the policy. I understand that.
But
consider how many new customers your co. could attract once it gets out
that your co. cares enough to institute a survival plan for people so they
can go on with their life?! No one else is doing that, so for a while your
company would be the industry leader. Enough of a head start to make the
proverbial killing. No, you don't have to do anything. None of us does.
We could all sit and twiddle our thumbs while Rome burns too. I chose
not to do that. Because of that, I've lived thru 13 years of sleep
apnea and barely been able to stand the pain of walking.
I
do know one thing about insurance. I know the insurance industry holds most
the cards in America. You are the only ones with the leverage to MAKE doctors
treat emergency room patients better. As I have gained in knowledge and
appreciation for what was done to me by way of inadequate poor crap treatment,
I've restored my health to a point where I can tell you with the utmost
certainty that just a few applications of medical knowledge that HAS BEEN
WIDESPREAD KNOWLEDGE in the medical community for about 50+ YEARS -had it
been applied in my case- would have erased much of what has happened with
me.
Not only
was my physical restoration totally ignored with but a few exceptions,
because my physical health was so bad it reached out and affected my mental
abilities. Being in such awful physical and therefore mental condition,
I squandered about $66,000.00 in the past 9 years. I got an insurance
settlement that was pitiful poor to what it should have been because my
lawyer was in agreement with the opposition lawyers who decided my accident
was a failed suicide attempt, which it was not. When Mom died, I mishandled
the money from 5 different insurance policies she had plus I sold her
trailer ($7k) plus I got an add'l $10,000 from her sister's Will
that specified if she died 1st that amount would go to her sis (my Mom).
Mom died about 4 hours after Aunt V passed away, dropping the extra $10G
in my pocket. So I got quite literally $crewed in a number of ways.
The dominoe effect? It has been legion! My son had to drop out of V Tech
for lack of funds. I went into debt for a mobilehome and a car that had
to be let go later, ruining my credit score that was 772... down to the
bottom of the well now. Oh, the monies went for very WORTHY needs. I had
no idea so much would come from so many varied directions. I was too sick
to put together a plan, and too sick to follow a plan if I had had one.
At the time it is my studied opinion that my Lithium had been a poison
to me over time.
Lack
of a Plan is crippling America too isn't it?
In
fact, I'd have to say that me and my family have paid far more dearly from
maltreatment and lack of proper medical treatment than your company will
ever pay. But, that matters little to you. Point is tho all these things
have had an end result of costing your co. in the NOW instead of costing
you in the Future as should been the case eh? My Policy number is EXB123.321
so you can figure out how much you would have saved by keeping me healthier
from the gitgo instead of this dang facsimile medical care I have received.
Even
right now, I have some lumps around in my chest and some other lumps in
my right cheek (face), and my doctor doesn't want to send me to get an MRI.
Every time I've asked him for a scan he sends me to Community Hospital here
in Roanoke and the end result of that is that they have melted some of the
outer cartilage of my right ear with cheap radiation scans. To this day,
my chest has never had a proper MRI. I have thyroid disease and a family
history of cancer so I should receive just about a total body MRI about
now. But my doctor barely knows me and quite frankly does not give a dang,
as you will see in my records he told your reps over a year ago that he
thought I was able to return to work. The Truth? At 52 years of age w/family
history I should be given pre-emptive cancer treatment right now before
a cancer gets a chance at me... just
as many Americans should be getting!
I
have not been able to do that. And I'm not going to even if I thought I
could until I know what's going on with all these lumps. If I'm about to
die I'm sure as hell not going back on the road and squander what little
time I have left with my family running freight! My Dad's sister Helen got
cancer all through her body. When they discovered it, she was eat up with
it and barely lived another 6 weeks. On Mom's side, her sister Eileen got
bone cancer and she left in a hurry also. My Mom died after a series of
5 cancers.
Yet
Dr. Timeweak will not prescribe me an all over cancer screen. It is my opinion
friends that my doctor has decided to allow me to die. Which still isn't
exactly your problem; except, maybe it IS in a way. For if doctors throughout
America are treating patients (people possessing insurance policies) in
such calculated and callus disregard, then maybe it is your business after
all. Maybe the screw sticking in my back these past 15 years is also sticking
you somewhere else. You do understand what I am saying do you not?
I'm talking about a major liability that is laying massive amounts of cash
flow out your drawers to people who should have been made well enough to
return to work.
You're
probably asking the obvious question: "Why don't I just sue everybody?"
Well, no lawyer seems to want anything to do with me. I'm a large white
guy. I look healthy even tho my insides are not. I have been taking so many
nutritional supplements that they make me look fairly well on the outside...
while my skeletal is a train wreck. My spine, ribs, verebrae & shull
plate crack and move all the time. Sure my doctor doesn't want me to
get a decent MRI evaluation because if that happens it might prove everything
I've been saying about medical laxity in Virginia! Becuase of MONEY, all
my doctors have a vested interest in me shutting th' hell up. Dying. No
lawyer will represent me because they know a jury looks at me, sees a healthy
looking guy weighing 270 pounds, and the case might get thrown out of Court
by Day 2.
It's
a widespread shotgun blast of discrimination is what it is. I'm white, large,
a Christian, divorced (not worth saving since my usefulness as a procreator
is over), and a truck driver (not one of their own), so basically they are
content to do nothing, twiddle their thumbs or worse yet give plenty of
MRI's to people who they know are dying so they can save them at the last
minute maybe, thereby maintaining their pedestal position among Mankind
& Womankind.
In
Dr. Timeweak's defence, he hasn't been seeing me as a patient very long
anyway. To his detriment is that supposedly all my records have been forwarded
to him, are in his possession, but he is for some reason or other dis-inclined
to find out either my family history and penchant for cancers nor read my
history of multiple head trauma survivor. All he knows -because all he wants
to know- is that I take Unithroid. He has shown no care whatsoever to have
my thyroid re-scanned since Dr. Timeweak2 had it burned with radiation back
in 1990 I think it was. I have been neither given nor even offered any comprehensive
scans to see what my overall state of health is, and am basically medicating
myself with nutritional supplements in violation of every TV commercial
that tells men to never, ever do that. We are told repeatedly to see
a doctor like a correct human being.
This is the vaunted United States Health Care System? No,
it is not. It's what we allow to be dished out at us as if we are mongrel
dogs waiting for a used bone from the table of our masters. The
medical care paid for by the Taxed Majority is only being enjoyed by a minority;
the rich, including our legislators.
Well,
I have a doctor. So?! When does the medical care start? I would
like to see it. It's only been 15 YEARS. I remain alive by the grace of
God and His nutritional supplements. My rt. ear burns a lot on the inside
from the radiation poisoning I've received,
and the cartilage on the top has disappeared about 50% now. When do I get
a check for cancer? When do I get a pre-cancer treatment in light of my
family history for it? Do I have to beg? Even worse than that, How many
Virginians and Americans are receiving this kind of gross discrimination?
We're older men, so we are expendable?
Anyways,
I just got my eyes checked. Dr. Timeweak3 found a marked double vision in
my left eye. He didn't offer any reason or anything because it isn't his
job I suppose. Obviously the repeated concussions on the right side of my
brain has had a crossover effect to the left perception. If I could afford
the eyeglasses (still not the insurance company's department!), and I could
get the cancer screenings and treatment out of the way, I believe I could
return to work and finally begin paying my insurance premium which is now
over $100 per month as I understand. That's about $1300 a year out of
your pocket now eh?
X
TIMES
HOW MANY POLICY HOLDERS???
Your
company, in my ignorant un-learned opinion, has a stake in all this. Are
you going to step up to the plate for Americans or not? Not even out of
self-interest? In the hope you will at least want to know more before making
the final guillotine call, I'm going to list below a number of relevant
web pages I've written to enlighten the American Public
& Taxpayers who are living in the greatest country in the World and
are getting treated less than slaves in ancient Sparta. And this page I
am writing is going online in my never ending attempt to shame the industry
in America if they do not Get With The Program. By exposing this situation
publicly to the entire World I intend to shame as many people
as I can til I see some action. So far all
these pages have been negative but one day if I'm still around I do hope
to be able to write some pages showing how America's doctors, insurance
companies, and heck, perhaps even DENTISTS and HOSPITALS realize this country
isn't great any more. We passed great a while back.
At the moment we stopped helping each other with a hand up.
My complaint
pages history:
Hyperbaric
oxygen that should have been applied in Williamsburg hospital, 1989:
In
my pursuit of "The Answer" for all of us I have also left a heavy documentation
of the abuse that has been meted out to me. I hope that one day my family
members are recompensed well for having had to watch this treatment from
the sidelines, unable and powerless to do anything while they watched the
American steamroller run over their Dad for 15 years... A horrow no
child or wife should have to watch yet watch they have. And
felt. Felt the lack of caring that should NOT exist in this
once great country. Bein' an American today is near par with being a Swahili
in Lesotholand in 1776. We have no medical care to brag of yet we're
supposed to brag anyway. We can't afford dental care and many people's
teeth rot in their skulls, their jawbones disappearing gradually, their
health disappearing quickly, and the Dream we call America has turned into
a constant bragging about how great we are, sending young troops all over
the World trying to prove it. Who are we trying
to convince?
What
we have is NASA and microwave ovens.
And we have
a very tolerant population of people who still dream of
America
the way it should be.
can
be, will be.
For
the past 2 years I have used every ounce of strength to write these solutions.
You may like them and you may not but they are unique. They show where
the flaws are and they show how to make a democracy behave completely fairly
toward each and every person living in this country. In other words, I have
successfully married Capitalism with Open Market Supply Demand Theory.
I achieved a "blanket solution" that brings
the Democratic Equation into a more perfect alignment. Each
person's purchase carries a contribution into a person's own database account
...
The
flaw I laid barebucknaked is this:
Not
everyone works but everyone buys stuff from
cradle to grave!
Basically
and briefly I have shown the way to get blanket hospitalization care and
retirement from people's purchases, relegating the Social Security System
(etc.) into being the Back Up System it was supposed to be in the First
Place. The system I discovered can be begun painlessly just as soon as people
begin putting it together.
I
remain hopeful as I have achieved much to be celebrated.
I
remain quite disgusted with the way my medical care has
STAGNATED.
I
look forward to seeing where all this leads.
Many
people are standing away from me, believing I will surely be
INTERNATIONALLY
DISGRACED.
I
hope not.
But
on the bright side won't matter much when I'm gone eh?
The
only thing I do know with certainty is that if I do not use
I
would be without Hope at all.
Can't
stand that.
As
for insurance companies?
Continue
warming the bench if you must.
To
the Future, may it come quickly & not delay
.
