Dr. Aggrawal, I have something to report to you and all here that will shock everyone. I have found out what caused my hand to freeze up into a partly paralyzed condition last November 15, 2006. It is more than "simple" carpal tunnel. I don't know where to start so I'll just jump right in. Several weeks ago I felt an almost overwhelming desire to cut off my paralyzed hand.

Of course I did not, but the desire was very strong. I decided it was not the proper thing to do. Several months ago I had this "weirdness" feeling in my head which migrated down into my spine at the shoulder level. So what I have concluded is that whatever th heck was going on with me, it was progressing from my brain, where it caused me to feel a weirdness, into my neck where it must have grown stronger, and finally gravity pulled it on down into my left hand.

Of course the EASY DIAGNOSIS would be to blame my being bipolar, but I do not settle for the easy answers. Never have, not gonna start now. So I found a new doctor who did X-rays of the hand. My chiropractor Dr. Paul Cronk -who in my estimation is close to a miracle worker- says the X-rays are completely clear. I have an appointment with an orthopedic doctor coming too, but see no reason now that I know what is causing all these weird feelings plus hand paralysis.

Here's the rundown > In 1983, before anyone had heard of Lyme's Disease, people were beginning to get it. I was one of those people. I had a large round spot on each upper leg, over the big muscle. They were Yellow-Orange, almost glowing. I asked my wife and she had never seen the like of that either. It just so happened at the same time I had been prescribed an antibiotic. I narrowly escaped this initial attack of Lyme's Disease because of the chance prescription of that antibiotic.
 
Sometime the next year they started talking about Lyme's Disease more and how it attacks the nervous system of the brain & spine. It was then we knew what I had had. I escaped major problems but I did one day "fall asleep" (pass out into a light coma) on the couch and had a dream that I was asleep, woke up and couldn't move my arms, legs, or body. The Lyme's Disease spirochetes induced a nightmare -indirectly- where my brain figured out I was slipping into a coma and made a dream to tell me what was happening.
 
In the dream I couldn't move, and was given the "opportunity" to decide did I want to live, or did I want to remain paralyzed in the coma and die. Since my life and jobs was not going very well, and the relationship with my wife wasn't so great either, I had the perfect out. I could choose to stay in the coma and no one would have faulted me for it. But then I got to thinking wait a minute, I still have something else to do in this world. So to force myself out of the coma I prompted a release of adrenalin.
 
Apparently adrenalin metabolizes the spirochetes in Lyme's Disease. I jumped from the couch and remembered everything that had happened, just as I tell you now. I held the opportunity to commit suicide without anyone knowing I had committed suicide... More than a few bipolar people would consider that a tempting offer.
 
So the answer to my riddle "Was I being poisoned?" (in an earlier post I made to your Yahoo Groups board)  is Yes I was, but not by anybody or food or environment. It is a recurrence and re-surfacing of the spirochetes in Lyme's coming back after me, out of dormancy. I did not figure this out on my own but I should have. All the symptoms were there but not the glowing spots. It is this awful WEIRD FEELING in your head that is the real tip off to a Lyme's Disease recurrence attack. It is a lot like a chemical warfare attack must feel like, mustard gas or something.
 
The reason the spirochetes came back is because all my other illnesses this year, plus my son passing away, had weakened me to just that low a level of immunity, and they grabbed their chance at me once more. But I still did not add all these things up til I watched a show on American television last night called "Mystery Diagnosis". This girl, her hand had begun cramping and contorting out of shape just as mine had felt a desire to do.
 
But I kept my left hand from going into a weird shape by mentally forcing the muscles to relax, which a young girl in her teens would not have known how to do. Even now tonite I am still making it relax, but the weird feeling in my head and spine is gone. Apparently my body defenses are now winning out over the Lyme's Disease spirochetes. There was something else that happened to me that they recounted on the show. For the past 4 days I have been sleeping all day long, just getting up for little raids on the refrigerator. Then the weirdness feeling would come back and knock me back in the bed for more rest.
 
Sort of like 3+ days of severe jet lag. I had all these many things and the hand paralysis before watching this show, so the idea I got the Lyme's Disease solution from watching the show would be incorrect. I had all that she had, then watched the show. A few days ago I got to thinking that what I had was like a fever, except I didn't have the high temperature. So it looks like a healthy person taking all the nutrition supplements as I do must be able to avoid the fever part, yet I knew it was something in my blood. In fact, I remarked to my son 2 days ago that I felt a burning inside my eyeballs, a giveaway for having a bloodstream infection.
 
So 24 years later at age 55, this old guy has once again cheated Lyme's Disease. Yesterday I began to take note the weirdness had left my brain and the weird feeling in my spine was gone. I feel now it is gone. Last night a knot of frozen muscle between my left pinky and ring finger knuckles popped loose. I can spread the fingers apart now.
 
Just as the disease had begun with my brain, spread down through the nervous system into my spine and then radiated out into the arm and hand, a reversal of that is now happening. The head-brain has self-healed using lots of nutrient supplements, then the spine is cleared, and now I expect the hand to begin clearing up.
 
I would have to say that my super nutriented body systems has made a vaccine for Lyme's Disease and is applying it. I have been taking a special dry powder mix of spirulina (60%) and dried aloe vera cactus (40%) for about a week or 2 now. It looks like ingested aloe vera may very well have tilted the outcome of this battle in my favor, a battle that began around November 15, 2006 when I first awoke with my left arm & hand numb from the shoulder down.
 
Now, about this desire to cut off my hand. I resisted it but found it extremely interesting to note that the girl in the Mystery Diagnosis Show had felt at the height of her leg pain that she wanted her legs amputated. And she told her Dad that too. I find this extremely interesting, that the human brain recognizes WHILE ILL that the extremities are infested with these d^mn spirochetes and the answer it comes up with is this desire to amputate the infected body parts.
 
There is little doubt in my mind that some people with Lyme's Disease may very well have succumbed to that desire because it was very powerful. Even right now, with all this healing in progress, I still feel a lingering desire to cut off my hand. So I believe this Dr. Aggrawal, that this desire for self amputation of the diseased hand is an "illness barometer". When the weirdness left my head, I knew I was clear there. When the weirdness departed my neck vertebrae spinal area yesterday I sensed I was clear there. So when this desire to amputate my own hand stops, I will know I am completely self healing clear of this 24 year return of the Lyme's Disease spirochete mechanism of infestation.
 
A darn great way to escape 2006 too! hahahaha

"Weirdness" versus "swimmy headed" versus bipolar & thyroid
Explaining the above in more technical terms
and historic perspective with links.

Sometimes the choice of words for a webpage is a tough call. I used the word weirdness as a shortcut term, keeping the amount of text limited down so the Reader can get the most message without getting bogged down in technical mumbo jumbo. Perhaps that was not wise as the word weird is a catchall word that can mean just about ANYTHING. So let's get technical and explain.
 
As a bipolar person feeling a kind of weird inside your head is a common everyday thing. Taking thyroid supplements as I do -plus having light (for the most part inactive, held in check by a daily nutrition barrage) bipolar- can cause a feeling of weirdness, although, more correctly stated, runaway brain chemicals (bipolar) cause you to be just plain high as a kite on your own drugs in your brain. ((Living with a bipolar person is -basically- living with a drug addict that never runs out of drugs.)) The Lyme's Disease I contracted in 1983 means being injected via a deer tick or other with a shot of spirochaetes. From this source I quote > "They are distinguished by the presence of flagella running lengthwise between the cell membrane and cell wall, called axial filaments. These cause a twisting motion which allows the spirochaete to move about."
 
The spirochaete for Lyme's is Borrelia burgdorferi (source link) and I quote > "Despite credible symptoms, after many blood samples do not grow the bacterium in a lab culture... Some believe that the cyst form can lay dormant for months or years, and is easily missed in typical blood tests, and why normal cultures fail." Throughout the past 23+ years since 1983 I have had these bacteria coming in & out of such a dormancy many times but never bothered getting a medical diagnosis of Lyme's. I had Lyme's before it was named Lyme's. Large oval blotches on my thighs (as mentioned above) are telltale, as was my slipping into a coma, so the diagnosis is certain.
 
Some people might would think I "invented" the disease from being bipolar (or a hypochondriac) and never had it at all. Since my doctor having diagnosed my lifelong bipolar condition in 1990 and my other doctor diagnosing the rare thyroid condition also that year, Lyme's disease being present was never detected because NO ONE EVER LOOKED FOR IT ANYWAY. The blood tests I have had they never saw it and few doctors knew I had had Lyme's. ((I never asked them to look for it as I thought it was a one time thing, yet they would have known if they had done their job and taken a full patient medical history from me like the medical professionals they claim to be. None of them had or took the time because they practiced assembly-line medicine which does take PLENTY OF TIME TO SEND YOU A LINE-BY-LINE ITEMIZED BILL BILLING STATEMENT THAT DOES NOT EVEN ASK IF YOU ARE STILL WITH US.))
 
Why would the Borrelia burgdorferi (source link) keep re-surfacing and going ballistic in my bloodstream and nervous system for 23+ YEARS? Bear in mind that both my bipolar and thyroid conditions kept me having accidents and traumas on a somewhat regular basis, so that I was repeatedly IN A WEAKENED CONDITION THAT FAVORED THE BORRELIA AN OPTIMUM OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE YET ANOTHER & ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL COMEBACK ATTEMPT AT MY NERVOUS SYSTEM SINCE 1983.
 
In 2006 I had runaway high blood pressure that at times exceeded 225/140 for extended lengths of time. It was not the first year that had happened as I have been experiencing escalating of the blood pressure for over 4 years now. High blood pressure damages the body cells and contributes to E.D. (erectile dysfunction) so you should understand then that erectile dysfunction is NOT LIMITED TO THE MALE MEMBER; IT IS A SYSTEM-WIDE MAJOR HEART-BLOOD VESSEL CONSTRICTION FOR MEN AND WOMEN ALIKE. Therefore, the "swimmy headed" feeling I have had during 2006 but specifically elevated since my arm and hand went numb with associated hand paralysis (which led to the writing of this page in the 1st place) is definitely a direct manifestation of the spirochaete recurrence from its dormant state that has kept the dream alive for the Lyme's 23+ years so far.
 
"Swimmy headed" is much better than calling it simply "weirdness" as I did in the top section of this webpage to save space. Here is some more explanation of what was going on from the Borellia action inside my brain-spine nervous system liquid (source link) > "Some species of bacteria (those of Spirochete body form) have a specialized type of flagellum called axial filament that is located in the periplasmic space, the rotation of which causes the entire bacterium to corkscrew through its usually viscous medium. {pgh} Anticlockwise rotation of monotrichous polar flagella thrusts the cell forward with the flagellum trailing behind. Periodically the direction of rotation is briefly reversed, causing what is known as a "tumble", and results in reorientation of the cell. The direction at the end of the tumble state is random. Random rotation? Tumbling feeling? Reorientation? The bacteria is moving even when the Lyme's Disease sufferer is not moving, sitting in a chair feeling like you are "being thrust forward"? Yep, you got it. The feeling that comes from a Lyme's Disease moving spirochete infestation is one great lot of difference from bipolar and thyroid issues. When all this rotation inside the spinal and brain fluid is nonstop and then a sudden attack of tremendous PAIN happens to the nervous system of the leg(s) or hand(s) the patient so infested with these rotating corkscrew bacteria will feel a tremendous impulse to beg for the limb to be amputated because the last ditch impulse of the human brain is to PROTECT ITSELF, as happened to myself and the girl in the television documentary.

 
And, more than likely, my last 5 years of severe hypertension is a direct result of spirochaete infestation involving my heart muscle. Right now I am "on the fence". Some days my blood pressure levels to 120/75 which is exceedingly good for a 55 year old man who has a BMI (body mass index) of 41 and weighs 290# (pounds). But that is normal for me because I take so many nutrition supplements and aspirin and hypertension medication called Diovan... which I probably would not need at all if I can find a doctor who will try to get the spirochaete infestation under control.
 
But you are wondering why I am writing all this stuff here?? Someone has to do it is #1 and #2 how many others out there in America are living through this nightmare while their doctors do not have the time to properly investigate?? They cannot all be like Dr. House on the telebishun show "House". Out here in the real world patients (and women) go for DECADES CARRYING ROTATING FLAGELLUM IN THEIR HEAD AND SPINE. So I write in the hopes this web page will make it to the top of Google and Yahoo is the best I can hope for, knowing it will not because the WebMD and government health sites have the top covered.
